Huge demand: additional date for the “Triadic Ballet” – Munich

No chance of tickets for days. All performances of Oskar Schlemmer’s legendary “Triadic Ballet” on June 1, 2 and 3 in the Prinzregententheater are sold out. The Heinz Bosl Foundation has now responded to the enormous demand and scheduled an additional date. The Bavarian Junior Ballet will dance again on Saturday, June 3 at 3 p.m.

The avant-garde piece from 1922, which went down in dance history mainly because of its unusual costumes designed by the Bauhaus artist, can be seen in the reconstructed choreography by Gerhard Bohner from 1977, rehearsed with Ivan Liška’s company. The “Triadic Ballet” is preceded by another legendary choreography in the Munich performance: Hans van Manen’s “Concertante” from 1994. Incidentally, the dancers also wear very special costumes in this timeless work.

Additional performance for the “Triadic Ballet”, Sat., 3 June, 3 p.m., Prinzregententheater, tickets from the box office of the Bavarian State Opera, Tel. 089 2185 1920 or online: heinz-bosl-stiftung.de/das-triadisches-ballett
