Why is it actually like this: In boardrooms, on talk shows, in parliaments – there are men everywhere who talk loudly but don’t have that much to say. Of course there are women who speak up too. But far too often women experts, bosses, politicians, scientists, thinkers and doers are less visible than their male counterparts. Behind this are social structures that have been shaped for thousands of years: the patriarchy. And these in turn often define rules and values that are taught in childhood.
