How we can keep up with the rapid development of technology – Economy

It’s actually quite a simple arithmetic task: 25 square meters of a 400 square meter pond are covered with water lilies. If they double in area every day, how many days will it take for the entire pond to be overgrown? There are many mental images that are designed to illustrate how something works that our hunter-gatherer brains are not made for: exponential growth. It eludes our everyday comprehension, similar to quantum physics, the world of the smallest particles, in which so many things work very differently than our experience from the world teaches, which we can touch and see.
