And although the reform of the property tax has become noticeably quiet, it is now entering the hot phase. Now it is decided who will hit the hardest.
Because in the next weeks and months the necessary laws have to be passed. Since each federal state can decide for itself how it calculates the tax, there are a few things to decide. There is a federal model that has already been adopted and which seven states want to follow so far, namely Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia.
