Under the motto “Elated and elated!” The brass band Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn presents its New Year’s concert this Sunday, January 22nd. Characteristic melodies from the heyday of cheerful Viennese music will be heard: from Johann Strauss to Joseph Hellmesberger to Johann Schrammel. In addition, popular evergreens are on the program, for example by Leroy Anderson or film music from “Mary Poppins”. There will be two editions of the New Year’s concert on Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. and at 3 p.m. The big wind orchestra conducted by Sonja Weese, the symphonic wind orchestra, conducted by Bernhard Willer, and the percussion ensemble, conducted by Thomas Sporrer, will perform.
