Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn: herb garden plots to be awarded – district of Munich

Grow your own vegetables – even if you don’t have your own garden or balcony: That’s the idea behind the herb gardens in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn. Individual plots have now become vacant there for the 2023 season, for which interested parties can register with the municipality by February 15th. The 50 square meter cultivation areas are then allocated by drawing lots. Vegetables, lettuce, herbs and flowers can be grown on the plots. However, the areas have to be dug up, tended and weeded yourself – with your own garden equipment and tools. For a lease of 50 euros per year, the municipality provides the herb gardeners with irrigation water and takes care of the disposal of green waste. There are a total of 80 pitches in Höhenkirchen and Siegertsbrunn. The application for the vacated areas is carried out using an online form, which can be found on the municipality’s website.
