It’s official. Alain Ferrandi and Pierre Alessandri, accomplices of Yvan Colonna in the assassination of the prefect Erignac, could be transferred “by mid-April” to Borgo prison in Corsica, Matignon announced on Tuesday.
The path to a rapprochement between the two Corsican separatists, sentenced to life imprisonment, had been opened after the lifting of their status as “particularly reported detainees” ten days ago. This decision is part of a context of great tension in Corsica, after the attack on Yvan Colonna in Arles prison on March 2 and his death on Monday.
