Dedicated to the philosophical exploration of power structures: Book author Björn Vedder has lived at Ammersee for three years and has discovered a gap between the wealthy and those people who collect returnable bottles from rubbish bins.

The philosopher Björn Vedder wrote a book with the title “Reicher Mob”, shortly afterwards he moved to the Ammersee in the Starnberg district. Are there rich mobs there? A conversation about privileges, 100,000 euro SUVs and what it means to learn to die.

Björn Vedder, born in Brakel in East Westphalia in 1976, lives with his family on Lake Ammersee and is a publicist, curator and the only man on the Herrsching parents ‘council of his three daughters’ kindergarten. With books such as “Rich Mob – About the Monsters of Capitalism” or “Fathers of the Future” (Büchner Verlag), he devotes himself to the philosophical research of power structures.
