Helene Fischer
Children’s songs are part of everyday life
Helene Fischer’s new project “The Most Beautiful Children’s Songs” will be released soon. The pop queen provides the first audio samples on Instagram.
“Choo choo wa choo choo wa choo choo wa wa wa… Well, who knows?” asks Fischer on the social media platform and makes a small confession: “I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t know some of the children’s songs before, but that quickly changed – now they have become an integral part of my everyday life.”
Shortly before, Fischer had already played an excerpt from the “Fliegerlied” posted and hinted atwhat pleasure she enjoys working on the songs: “I think it’s easy to see how much fun this project is – it’s full of energy, joy of life and a lot of laughter!”
Helene Fischer fulfills her wish
In September it was announced that Fischer would not only be releasing a new album under the title “The Most Beautiful Children’s Songs” but was also planning a whole series. Included are songs like “Auf der Mauer, auf der Luer”, “Ein Bi-Ba-Butzemann is dancing”, “My grandma rides a motorcycle in the chicken coop”, “Bake, bake cake” and also the previously mentioned songs “So ein beautiful day (flying song)” and “Tschu Tschu Wa”. The start of the children’s song series will be published on November 1st.
“The project probably comes as a bit of a surprise to my fans, but it has actually been a heartfelt wish of mine for a long time to make music for children,” Fischer was quoted as saying in a press release in September. It was “the logical next step in my career. […] The children’s album is definitely my heart’s project in 2024 and a nice start for many great things to come.”
