ProSieben rejects Günther Klum’s criticism. Heidi Klum’s father had accused the broadcaster of a “GNTM” austerity course.
The broadcaster ProSieben defends itself against the criticism of Heidi Klum’s (50) father. Günther Klum (77) had criticized the development of the format shortly before the finale of “Germany’s next top model” on June 15 and accused the broadcaster of an austerity course.
ProSieben refers to the guest list
A ProSieben spokeswoman told the news agency spot on news: “Mr. Klum is wrong. Our guest list alone – from Jennifer Lawrence to Leni Klum, Jean Paul Gaultier, the Scorpions to the German US superstar Kim Petras shows: We Love To Entertain You.”
Günther Klum had previously published a video entitled “ProSieben on the back burner” on his website. In it he criticized that the finale was no longer a big show with international stars well known to young people, but was shot in a studio in front of a smaller audience. However, “Germany’s next top model” stands for a big show: “And this name and the viewers deserve that too. Unfortunately, it’s not the case at the moment.”
Klum used to manage his famous daughter and looked after many “GNTM” candidates with his agency ONEeins Fab until 2021.
