Heidi Klum always kept children’s photos of her offspring under lock and key. On the occasion of Leni’s 18th birthday, she literally bursts out.
Heidi Klum (48) celebrates her daughter Leni Klum’s 18th birthday (May 4). Published on Instagram a specially produced video that shows countless never-before-seen photos and clips from the childhood of the now adult young model. Stylistically, the three-and-a-half-minute video is designed like a Netflix production and the “series” shown is called “Mom, I’m an adult now.”
The intro page also reads: “On May 4th, 2004 (18 years ago) this little beaniehead came to this earth. Since then she has had the best time with her family and friends. She is loved by so many ! Now her biggest dream is finally coming true. She’s 18…” Then the slide show begins.
You can see pictures of Leni of all ages, alone, but also together with her mother, grandma Erna, stepdad (since 2019) Tom Kaulitz (32) and her three siblings, Henry (16), Johan (15) and Lou (12 ). Heidi Klum shows the girl during dance training, the first attempts at modeling, on the plane, in the sea, but also at the dentist … The pictures are touching, funny, cute and above all something very special, because Heidi Klum was always careful about her children to protect from the public.
The proud mom commented on her post with loving words: “Happy 18th birthday, Leni️. I love you with all my heart. Let your bright light shine forever and ever.”
Singer Seal (59), with whom Heidi Klum was officially married from 2005 to 2014 and who is Leni’s adoptive father, did not make it onto the show. The same applies to Leni’s biological father, the Italian Formula One great Flavio Briatore (72). On the other hand, the man seen from behind at 1:22 minutes could be Heidi Klum’s father and Leni’s grandfather Günther Klum (76). What is certain is that Günther Klum wrote a letter to his granddaughter Leni. He shows the beginning on his Instagram account.
“Dear Mousecat, now you’re grown up…” is handwritten there. In the comment on his post, the Bergisch Gladbacher writes: “Today is your big day! Happy 18th birthday, Leni Klum.”
