1. Too high heating temperatures & open windows
Every degree of room temperature increases your heating costs by six percent.
Heat escapes through tilted windows and the risk of mold increases.
2. Switch off the heating when leaving the apartment
Counterintuitive, but efficient: when rooms cool down completely, it takes more energy to heat them up again.
3. Supplied radiators
A lack of free space causes heat to build up and blocks the distribution of heat in the room.

Washing on the radiator reduces the heat output – and encourages mold growth.
