HBC Nantes targets 30,000 spectators at Hall XXL in December

It’s confirmed. After two years of famine, the HBC Nantes will make its big return to Hall XXL of the Parc des Expositions de la Beaujoire in December. And it will not be two matches but three that the Nantes handball players will play consecutively in this modular room that can accommodate up to 10,000 spectators.

Everything will begin on Tuesday, December 7 with the reception of Benfica Lisbon in the European Cup (European League EHF), one of the favorites of the event. Place in the championship the following Saturday against Chambéry, one of the strongholds of Starligue. And, finally, the shock against Paris SG, seven-time defending champion, on Wednesday, December 15. Objective: to accumulate 30,000 spectators over the three matches.

Beyond the sporting results, these matches are the showcase of what HBC Nantes wishes to offer: events large-scale, an exceptional atmosphere and a Nantes metropolis in fusion behind the purple coat of arms. We gathered more than 20,000 people in 2017 during the Barcelona and PSG receptions. Four years later, we want to reach the threshold of 30,000 spectators. “

The ticket office for the matches against Chambéry and Paris has been open for a month and some 10,000 people have already reserved their places. Tickets for Benfica Lisbon will go on sale from October 11.
