From this evening, the coaches of The Voice will no longer have to press their buzzer. After three episodes devoted to blind auditions, the “All Stars” edition of the show launches its first evening of “cross battles”. As in the previous season, each member of the jury will send one of his talents to face a candidate from the opposing team. The 30 singers and singers who make up the program are now known, the opportunity to wonder if, after their first participation, the artists have decided to go to their original mentor … or not.
20 minutes therefore took out the calculator. Out of 30 candidates, 13 could not find their original coach since he or she is not participating in this season. For example, six performers – Ana Ka, Anahy, Louis Delort, Flo Malley, Atef Sedkaoui and Antoine Galey – were part of Team Garou, which does not participate in The Voice All Stars, during the first five seasons. For these talents, then impossible to rekindle the flame of nostalgia with their former mentor.
10 talents have chosen nostalgia
What about the other 17 candidates? Ten interpreters, that is the majority of cases, decided to take a step towards the one who extended their hand to them for the first time several years previously. The nostalgia card worked particularly well for Jenifer and Zazie, who each reclaimed three of their talents. For the winner of the first season of the star Academy, they are Amalya Delepierre, Al. Hy and Leelou Garms. As for the interpreter of Peace Street, Demi Mondaine, Yoann Launay and Will Barber have all chosen to return to her.
Florent Pagny, meanwhile, has two of his former talents in his team: Anne Sila and Dominique Magloire. Note, however, that he also found Ana Ka, a candidate of the Garou team that he had “stolen” at the time of the “ultimate test” of season 5. The singer was then eliminated at the end of the first bonus live.
Patrick Fiori, he only participated in the version Kids of the show. He then found only one of his former candidates, namely Cassidy Cruiks, with whom he had worked during the fourth season.
Seven talents have made the choice (or not) of novelty
Mika does not have any of his former candidates on his team. It must be said that the coach had little choice since only one person he previously coached managed to qualify for the “cross battles”. It is about Gjon’s Tears, talent of the eighth season and representative of Switzerland at Eurovision this year, who preferred to join Zazie for this second chance.
Ten personalities selected for the “cross battles” will therefore try their luck again with their former coach and seven will have the right to a new mentor. Victoria Adamo, Anthony Touma and Olympe, for example, have chosen not to go to Jenifer, with whom they lived their first season.
Among these seven talents, however, it should be noted that three of them did not have the chance to choose who to turn to. Only Florent Pagny pressed his red button during the performances of MB14 (team Zazie in season 5) and Manon (team Patrick Fiori in season 6 of The Voice Kids). Patrick Fiori is also the only one to have turned around during the hearing of Emmy Liyana (team Zazie in season 6).
