This idea is her response to Berlin’s previously failed attempt to link funding to commitments to diversity and against anti-Semitism. The latest attempt is also unsuitable. Rather, it threatens the very context it claims to protect. It is high time to remember that artistic freedom does not pose a threat to a free society.
