Hamburger SV: Revenge with Ronaldo (or without Ronaldo?) – Sport

One would think that negative emotions at the Hamburger Sportverein would have worn off over the years, but this impression became obsolete on Friday evening. Anger and indignation were the dominant emotions after HSV lost 2-1 at home to Darmstadt 98. The reason for the uproar was the referee Robert Schröder, who first dismissed two Hamburg players and then the HSV sports director Jonas Boldt.

But the red card was just one thing. The fact that the Hamburger Schröder accused rude behavior also led to debates. “What the referee said to our players was below the belt line,” snapped HSV midfielder Jonas Meffert: “Incredible!” What exactly? Nobody wanted to reveal that afterwards.

In any case, the anger was justified. The SZ was able to reconstruct two sentences of Schröder’s at the weekend, which fulfilled the facts of the really nasty provocation. Number one: “Hey, what’s up with the Zinnober, you’ll only be fourth again anyway!” Number two: “I heard you wouldn’t even get the Ronaldo.” The latter in particular hit the pride of the people of Hamburg hard. Because despite the natural candidate status, HSV is apparently the only professional club in Europe that has not yet been officially offered CR7 by its advisor.

The culprit is the once again bad-tempered patron Klaus-Michael Kühne, whose €120 million financial injection was recently simply rejected by HSV. Kühne has now entered into direct negotiations with the Portuguese in revenge, the first details of the contract have already leaked out: Ronaldo gets the money that was originally intended for HSV and only has to promise that he will never play for HSV. Who laughs last, laughs best.
