One person was killed in an exchange of fire between a man and the special operations commando (SEK) on Friday night. The incident reportedly occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the Hamburg district of Rahlstedt.

During an operation of the Special Operations Command (SEK) in A man was fatally injured in Hamburg. As a police spokesman said on Friday morning, officers were alerted by local residents shortly before midnight “due to a male individual behaving abnormally.” When the emergency services arrived, the man is said to have suddenly shot at the police officers from his balcony. A special forces team was then called in for reinforcements.

Man opened fire on the SEK officers

According to police reports, the man then shot at the special forces. The police shot the man, but he died of his injuries at the scene, the spokesman said. The background to the incident in the Rahlstedt district was initially unclear. No further details about the man were released. A homicide squad was called in.

How “T-Online” reports that another man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Wolliner Street.
