The word “risk-prone” sounds as if it could only come from Robert Habeck. And indeed, the economics minister introduced it into the discourse last autumn. When it came to whether the hastily introduced electricity price brake might face a similar fate as the previously flopped gas levy. Normally one would take more time for this, Habeck argued, his ministry was implementing a political mandate in view of the energy crisis, but: “It is risky.”
