Haar near Munich – Association of the Disabled commemorates the murder of patients – district of Munich

Representatives of the General Disabled Association in Germany (ABiD) and the Bavarian Disabled Association laid a wreath on the grounds of the Isar-Amper-Klinikum in Haar on Thursday, the day of remembrance for the victims of National Socialism. At the commemoration they commemorated the murder of patients during the Nazi dictatorship. More than 3,000 psychiatric patients were taken to killing centers by Haar in the course of Action T4 or were murdered in Haar himself. The ABiD calls for the dead to be officially recognized as Nazi victims. The association complains that the many disabled people who were killed by the Nazis in the most horrible way are still referred to as “euthanasia” victims. That is a euphemism and a trivialization. In Germany alone, according to the association, 70,000 disabled people were gassed by the Nazis, killed in medical experiments or starved to death. In Europe there were around 300,000 people. The FDP member of parliament Julika Sandt appeared as a guest speaker in Haar.
