After provoking a rear-end collision with an unforced emergency stop, a previously unknown driver made off in Haar on Tuesday. According to the police, he was traveling on Wasserburger Landstrasse in the direction of Munich at around 12.15 p.m. when, despite the green traffic light at the junction with Bahnhofstrasse, he braked sharply for no apparent reason. The drivers of three cars driving behind him were able to react in time, but the fourth in line, a 25-year-old woman from Munich, recognized the situation too late and drove into the car of a 69-year-old resident in Spain.
