An 80-year-old resident suffered serious injuries in a fire in an apartment building in Grünwald on Saturday morning. Local residents alerted the fire brigade and police at around 7:10 a.m. Several patrols and extinguishing trains moved out immediately. They were able to extinguish the fire in the apartment and bring everyone in the house to safety.
The man who lived in the apartment was taken to a hospital by ambulance. Commissariat 13 of the Munich criminal police has taken over the investigation into the cause of the fire. According to the police, the fire caused damage in the apartment of several tens of thousands of euros.
