An 81-year-old pedestrian was hit by an off-road vehicle in Grünwald and seriously injured. The pensioner was on the pedestrian ford along Oberhachinger Strasse on Thursday at around 3 p.m. When he was about to cross Tölzer Strasse, a 56-year-old resident in the Munich district came in his jeep on Oberhachinger Strasse. He drove into town and, according to the police, wanted to turn left into Tölzer Strasse. It drove to the pensioner, who was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital by the ambulance service for inpatient treatment. While the accident was being recorded, there was little traffic disruption in the intersection area. The Munich traffic police are conducting the investigation.
