Classical sounds for a good cause: on Sunday, January 22nd, talented young people from the Grünwald Music School will be giving a benefit concert in aid of Kindernothilfe. The event in the August-Everding-Saal begins at 6 p.m. Every year, numerous children and young people who are trained at the Grünwald Music School take part in the “Jugend musiziert” competition. They are sponsored by the Kreissparkasse München Starnberg Ebersberg and the Dr. Dagobert Nitz Foundation in a special “S class”. This Sunday they will be performing selected works from their competition programs on the concert podium. Admission is free, donations are welcome. The proceeds benefit the project “Good early childhood education and committed parent work in South Africa” run by the Kindernothilfe association.
