Gronsdorf – police patrol finds injured motorcyclist – district of Munich

The serious accident involving a motorcyclist near Haar is still a mystery to the police. A patrol discovered the 29-year-old lying on the sidewalk in Gronsdorf at around 0.30 a.m. on Sunday night. According to previous investigations, the man from Ottobrunn was heading towards Salmdorf and probably drove too fast into a curve. As a result, he went off the road and fell. According to the police report, he suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for inpatient treatment. Apparently the man was not wearing a helmet because the police officers could not find one at the scene of the accident. Since the officers noticed a strong smell of alcohol on the motorcyclist, they ordered a blood test to be taken from the injured person to clarify the cause of the accident. The motorcycle was a total loss and was towed away because it was no longer roadworthy.
