Great luck: Brain tumor is only discovered through pregnancy

Watch the video: “My little boy literally saved my life” – Doctors discover a brain tumor from the pregnancy.

Abi and Ross Naylor from Ceshire in the UK are planning to have a baby.
After a few months, Abi is pregnant, but the 12-week scan shows that the baby’s brain is not developing properly. In the 14th week of pregnancy she gives birth to her baby.
In February 2022, the 28-year-old became pregnant again and was closely examined because of her miscarriage.
Abi suddenly collapses in the 37th week of pregnancy.
However, doctors do not want to perform an MRI scan due to her pregnancy.
Shortly after, she gives birth to a healthy son named Roman on October 11, 2022.
Only a week after the birth, Abi finally comes to the hospital with a very strong migraine attack.
A computed tomography provides certainty: Doctors discover a seven-centimetre tumor in Abi’s brain. She will be operated on immediately.
But how did it come about that Abi had no problems up to this point?
After the operation, it is found that the tumor was only able to grow so quickly thanks to the pregnancy hormones.
“We have no idea how long the tumor was there and growing. Doctors believe the hormones and the stress of labor accelerated the growth of the tumor. Without the pregnancy, he might have grown longer and done more damage.” – Abi vs. SWNS
The operation is going well and Abi will not suffer any permanent damage.
“Looking back, I’ve had headaches now and then over the years, but thought nothing of it.” – Abi vs. SWNS
Meanwhile, the mother is back home with her husband and son and recovering. First and foremost, she thanks her baby.
