GRDF will file a complaint after voluntary gas cuts

The management of GRDF has announced its intention to file a complaint after wild cuts in the gas supply in several municipalities in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Near The Independent, the territorial director of GRDF, Claude Bompard evokes “intentional acts of malevolence”. Faucets would have been closed anarchically on the network. Bailiffs’ findings were made.

GRDF agents have been on strike for nearly a month in order to obtain a salary increase. The strike rate is 100% on the side of technicians in Perpignan.

On Sunday, 770 households were deprived of gas, in seven municipalities in the Pyrénées-Orientales department: Claira, Ille-sur-Têt, Millas, Néfiach, Saint-Hippolyte, Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque and Torreilles. Almost all customers have since been connected to the network.
