Grafing: Theater project for families during the carnival holidays – Ebersberg

Distributing roles, rehearsing scenes, tinkering with props: during the carnival holidays in Grafing, theater is once again being performed, it’s almost a tradition. This time the theater teacher Marina Lahann invites you to bring the story of Ronja the robber’s daughter to life. All primary school children between the ages of seven and 14 are welcome with their parents or grandparents.

Who doesn’t know Astrid Lindgren’s classic children’s book? Ronja is the daughter of the robber chief Matthis and his robber wife Lovis. She grew up free, wild and courageous in Matthiswald. One day she meets Birk, the son of robber captain Birka and his wife Undis. But the two gangs have always been enemies! Despite their families’ deep-rooted arguments, Ronja and Birk become friends. A deep bond develops between them and they rescue each other from many a tricky situation. At some point their friendship also makes the robber captains think – and finally they are ready to shake hands and end the old quarrel. A story about the power of friendship and overcoming old enmities.

The family theater project is offered by the family center in cooperation with the music school. It takes place during the carnival holidays, from Monday February 20th to Friday February 24th. In the mornings, the theater players meet in the Boulderhalle, Thomas-Mayr-Strasse 4, and in the afternoons they do handicrafts in the family center, Münchner Strasse 12. The big performance will then take place on Friday at 3 p.m. in the Bouldering Hall. Individuals pay 40 euros, two people together 60 euros and families (three or more people) 90 euros. Registration by email to [email protected].
