“I deeply regret my decision”: Dropout Tracy begs to return to GNTM

First she went voluntarily, now she wants to go back: GNTM candidate Tracy Baumgarten applied in the final to participate in the show again. Jury boss Heidi Klum reacted with surprise.
This appearance even left Heidi Klum speechless for a moment: in the live finale of “Germany’s Next Top Model”, candidate Tracy Baumgarten sat in the audience and asked for a second chance after her voluntary exit in the 18th season.
“After I left, I continued to follow GNTM. I realized that I had thought far too much about my portrayal and how to use the cameras. I stressed myself far too much. It became clear to me that I had a I missed a very big opportunity and I deeply regret my decision,” she said. And further: “Heidi, at this point I would like to ask you if you would like me to be part of the next season?”
GNTM: Heidi Klum gives Tracy a second chance
Klum initially only brought a puzzled “What?” and then replied, “We’ve never had that before. I’m amazed. I was really sad the day you said you wanted to go home. I really liked you. I felt a bit broken heart.” Finally, she assured Tracy a wild card for the coming season, but at the same time warned her. “I’d like you to be there, but there will still be cameras. Of course, it’s also a TV show, not just a photo that people are looking at. That’s why we have to ask you questions so that people at home understand it what’s going on with you.”
Tracy had left the current GNTM season in the fifth episode of her own volition. At the time, she justified her decision as follows: “I’m not feeling well. I can’t cope with the stressful situations, the cameras and the drama in the villa. I underestimated the whole situation.” Nevertheless, she now wants to participate again.
On her Instagram account, the 25-year-old writes to her followers: “Wrong decisions are part of growing. It’s important to learn from them. What I can recommend to you is not to make decisions at the moment, but every aspect questioning.”
