The research center of SAP and the Technical University of Munich should be a model for the entire country. Because only where the best from science and business come together can groundbreaking developments emerge.
The word was mentioned several times this Wednesday when the IT company SAP officially opened its new building on the grounds of the research center in Garching near Munich. The word is courage. However, the speakers did not mean entrepreneurial courage; after all, this was the 20th research laboratory that SAP had built worldwide. It was courageous of the Free State of Bavaria to make the site available to the company and to issue the building permit quickly, which was acceptable by German standards.
