Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble and Federal Councilor and Prime Minister Reiner Haseloff will take part. Chancellor Angela Merkel will give the keynote address. The guests also include citizens’ delegations from all 16 federal states.
At the end of the celebrations, a multimedia and drone show is planned at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art. It is intended to replace the traditional final fireworks. Tickets for the show have already been raffled off in advance by local media.
