German streets should not be named after Erwin Rommel – a comment – Bavaria

Erwin Rommel, as the namesake of a street, is not only out of date but also unsuitable. Actually, it’s enough to realize what purpose the naming of a street serves: not only, but also to honor a person. And that’s why the city of Erlangen, ideally after a public debate involving as many people as possible, can only come to this one conclusion: to rename the street.
