“The Cryptide consists of a sole with an open design, combined and printed with an upper that is not much more than a sock. As the name suggests, the sneaker is inspired by so-called Cryptids – mythical creatures like Bigfoot or Loch Ness, which it may or may not exist,” it says Sintratec. “When you wear this shoe, you leave traces like a cryptid,” adds Henrich.

Both the upper and the distinctive sole are made of a single material, a rubber-like elastomer. The elasticity and possibility of movement is achieved solely by means of different wall thicknesses.

The sneaker should be comfortable to wear and ergonomic. It is not yet clear whether the special shoe will be available for purchase.
