The number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip is rising. Around 70 percent of those killed are said to be women and minors.

More than 62,680 people were injured, the statement said on Sunday. Within 24 hours, 178 people were killed in Israeli attacks in the coastal strip. No distinction is made between civilians and fighters. Around 70 percent of those killed are said to be women and minors. The numbers cannot be independently verified.

The war was triggered by the worst massacre in Israel’s history, carried out by terrorists from Hamas and other extremist Palestinian organizations on October 7th in Israel near the border with the Gaza Strip. On the Israeli side, 1,200 people were killed.

According to the military, 195 soldiers have been killed since the Israeli ground offensive in the Gaza Strip began at the end of October. More than 1,200 others were injured. Since October 7th, 531 soldiers have been killed.
