Garching – physicist leads SPD seniors – district of Munich

The working group “60 Plus” of the SPD München-Land will in future be led by Joachim Krause. The physicist has been involved in Garching’s city council since 1990 and has been third mayor since 2020. Krause is replacing Johanna Hagn from Ismaning, who has headed the working group for the past few years. Among other things, the working group advocates a “pension for all” and fair conditions in nursing care, but according to its own statements it also wants to seek dialogue with the young members of the party.
