Garching: cultural festival and autumn market in the Römerhof – district of Munich

Garching’s cultural life awakens from the summer break and opens the new season. Next Saturday, September 17, visitors will be offered a mixture of music, literature, theater and dance, flanked by the opportunity to stroll and shop. At the “Römerhof-Kultur-Fest” from 3.30 p.m., the large and small local art and culture associations present themselves and their skills with free entry in the historical ensemble of the Römerhof.

On stage you can see, among other things, the farmer’s stage, the local history club, the music school, the dance studio, the theater group Thea, the adult education center, the Zeitkind association and the group “Die Tropicals”. Local curator Michael Müller will lead through the event. If the weather is bad, the event will take place in the community center. Information on this can be found on the website of the cultural department at www.kultur-garching.de.

The autumn market is already open from 10 a.m. in the courtyard of the Römerhof. Those who are interested can buy arts and crafts and flea market goods at the stands or fortify themselves with small delicacies.
