The food truck festival in Fürstenfeldbruck will not take place this year. The organizer, Mahavi GmbH, has now announced this. The reason is the city’s new requirements, increased costs due to the energy crisis and continued reluctance on the part of sponsors. That’s why it was decided to postpone the festival by one year, to June 22nd and 23rd, 2024.
After a two-year pandemic break, the festival was able to take place again in 2022. Despite the good weather and around 28,000 visitors, it was not possible to organize the event economically with free entry, according to the Mahavi press release. Since its inception in 2018, the festival has developed into a magnet for visitors that extends beyond the city limits. The organizers now hope to be able to offer the event again in 2024 “with strong partnerships and the full support of the city of Fürstenfeldbruck as an authentic and special experience for the whole family”.
