Fürstenfeldbruck: 70-year-old cyclist hit and fled – Fürstenfeldbruck

A 70-year-old cyclist was knocked over by an unknown driver on a roundabout near Neulindach in Fürstenfeldbruck on Friday evening and then made off. According to the police, the pensioner suffered serious back injuries. He was taken to a hospital.

The approximately 50-year-old driver had overlooked the cyclist entering the roundabout. He got out briefly, but then used the hustle and bustle at the scene of the accident to get away unnoticed. While other road users and passers-by were taking care of the injured person, initially no one noticed that the person who caused the accident drove away in the direction of the Hasenheide industrial park.

The driver is said to be a taller, slim 45- to 50-year-old man. He was driving a dark, possibly black Hyundai station wagon with an Aichach license plate. The car should have accident damage front left or center. The police appealed “to the driver’s conscience to volunteer”.
