The “Breakfast TV” duo Marlene Lufen and Daniel Boschmann moderated “Full House” this week on Sat.1 in the afternoon.

A well-established duo will host “Full House” this week. Marlene Lufen (52) and Daniel Boschmann (42) will lead the afternoon show on Sat.1 from Monday (August 14) to Friday. The broadcaster announced this in a statement. Lufen and Buschmann usually moderate, among other things, the “Sat.1Breakfast TV”.

“Who doesn’t like to make a trip to friends and family in summer?” Sat.1 quotes Daniel Boschmann. He is looking forward to visiting the “sister team” of “Volles Haus”.

Boschmann has experience with late afternoon formats. From 2018 to 2019 he also moderated Sat.1 “Endlich Feierabend”. However, he could not prevent the program from being canceled due to low ratings.

Marlene Lufen: “Housesitting” with makeover special

Marlene Lufen speaks of a “house sitting” in the afternoon format. She’s really looking forward to a makeover special this week. “In each of us there is a beautiful, self-confident person, sometimes you just need a few tips from a professional,” says the moderator. “And the before and after moment is always exciting!” Sat.1 continues to quote her.

Buschmann and Lufen have a week’s break for “breakfast television”. Christian Wackert (34), who also belongs to the “Full House” team, moderates there. He leads through the morning show alongside Alina Merkau (37).

“Full house”: Quotas have recently struggled

“Full House” was broadcast live on Sat.1 for the first time on February 27, 2023. Jasmin Wagner (43) and Jochen Schropp (44) were the presenters from the very beginning. Later, Christian Wackert and Madeleine Wehle (55) joined them.

The “all-in-one show” lasted three hours at the beginning, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. In May, Sat.1 announced that “full house” would be reduced to two hours in the summer months, and it would now end at 6 p.m.

The ratings of “Full House” were manageable from the start. In the last few weeks, the live format had struggled a bit and had a market share of three percent. Still well below station average, but better than in spring.
