Special broadcast as a gift for the 80th birthday
“Frank Elstner – one more question!” honors the greatness of the show and its work.

ARD gives Frank Elstner a special present for his 80th birthday in the form of a special broadcast with seven well-known companions.
When a TV and moderation icon from the Frank Elstner (79) brand turns 80 on April 19, there is only one way to celebrate: As SWR has now revealed, the “Wetten, dass ..?” -Inventor donated a special broadcast for his round day of honor. On April 15th, the program “Frank Elstner – one more question!” aired. It can also be accessed on the same day via the ARD media library, and there will be a repeat on TV on April 18 from 8:15 p.m. on SWR.
Of course, Elstner doesn’t have to do the 90-minute show alone. Seven prominent companions will surprise him and ask him about his eventful life. Thomas Gottschalk (71), Anke Engelke (56), Michelle Hunziker (45), Jan Böhmermann (41), Jean-Claude Juncker (67), Barbara Schöneberger (48) and Günther Jauch (65) will be there. In short: The Who’s Who of the German TV landscape is honoring itself and Elstner.
For the actual birthday then a lot of rest
According to the press release, “Frank Elstner – one more question!” already recorded “a few weeks ago in Cologne”. In this way, Elstner has all the more time to approach his birthday on April 19 in peace: “There won’t be a big party. I won’t tell anyone where I’m going either, so I can really be alone with my children,” the TV veteran is quoted.
