France – economy growing stronger – economy

According to Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire, the French economy should grow faster this year than previously assumed. He assumes that the gross domestic product will rise more strongly than previously expected by the government of 6.25 percent, Le Maire told the broadcaster BFMTV. They will stick to the official forecast – “but I think we will do better”. Most recently, France’s central bank boss Francois Villeroy de Galhau had expressed himself very optimistically and announced a higher gross domestic product of 6.7 percent. This means that France is clearly dependent on Germany for economic growth this year and is likely to grow twice as fast.
