Four years have passed since Brexit – the outcome for Great Britain is devastating

Sovereignty, prosperity and less immigration – these promises lured the British into voting to leave the EU. Brexit took place four years ago. Nothing remains of hope.

On the British internet forum “Mumsnet”, where the mothers of the kingdom usually exchange ideas about children and family issues, someone recently asked the question: “What has actually improved for us since Brexit?” The answers, more than a thousand in total, provide a glimpse into the soul of the country. “We no longer have to be governed by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels and can decide for ourselves how many migrants we accept,” writes one mother, among others, “that’s why we now have an unelected foreign minister and many more immigrants than before.”
