Four men indicted after Marquinhos’ family burglary

Four suspects arrested Tuesday as part of the investigation into the burglary of the Marquinhos family in March were indicted on Friday, said the Versailles prosecutor’s office, confirming information from the newspaper The team. Three of them, aged 20, 28 and 29, were remanded in custody and the fourth, 17, placed under judicial supervision.

Sunday March 14, while Paris Saint-Germain faced Nantes at the Parc des Princes as part of the 29th day of Ligue 1, the home of the family of the captain of PSG, in the Yvelines, had been burgled. During this intrusion, the player’s father, 52, was assaulted. The loss of the theft amounts to 1,500 euros in cash, in addition to luxury bags. “No one has suffered and everyone is doing well. More fear than harm, ”reassured Marquinhos on Instagram shortly after.

Di Maria’s home broken into the same evening

The arrests took place in Paris, in Val-de-Marne and in Essonne by police officers from the Brigade for the repression of banditry (BRB), the judicial police of Versailles and the Research and Intervention Brigade ( BIS). A judicial investigation had been opened, in particular of the counts of theft in an organized group with violence and criminal association with a view to the preparation of a crime.

During the same match, the home of another PSG star, Argentina’s Angel Di Maria, was burglarized in Neuilly, in the Hauts-de-Seine. Jewelry and watches had been stolen.
