Faruk Fatih Özer – founder of crypto exchange Thodex – has been extradited to his home country of Turkey. He was charged with racketeering and running a organized crime.
Thodex used to be one of the largest crypto exchanges in Turkey. But it later turned out to be a scam as Özer disappeared along with $2.6 billion worth of crypto. This resulted in over 400,000 losing users.
followreport The latest state-run media said the 27-year-old founder was detained by police upon arrival in Istanbul.
