He cannot yet say whether he will be driving for Aston Martin next year, said the now 35-year-old four-time world champion in an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”. Vettel’s contract with the British team ends after this season. He has been driving for the racing team since last year.
“I haven’t thought about it yet. That will happen in the coming weeks, »confirmed Vettel. The most important requirement is that he has fun. “I currently have that,” said Vettel, who, however, is far from the successes of earlier times, especially at Red Bull. Vettel celebrated the last of his 53 Grand Prix victories in September 2019 in Singapore, when the native of Hesse was still driving for Ferrari. However, the Scuderia retired Vettel after six disappointing years.
