At the beginning of the new week there will be sun and clouds in the north and northeast. What about the rest of the country?

People in Germany can also expect changeable weather with sun, clouds and rain at the start of the new week. Monday will be partly sunny and partly cloudy in the north and north-east, only a few showers are to be expected there, in the rest of the country it will be variable or heavily cloudy with increasing showers and isolated thunderstorms, in some areas also showery rain, according to the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Sunday. The maximum values ​​are between 16 and 21 degrees, on the North Sea and in the mountains around 14 degrees. A weak north-west wind will blow.

Tuesday will be cloudy south of the Dona with longer periods of rain, otherwise it will be cloudy, in the north-east there will be longer sunny periods and only a few showers, the maximum temperatures will reach around 16 degrees and only in the east up to 18 degrees in places. The wind will be weak to moderate, on the coasts it can freshen up strongly, sometimes there are stormy gusts.

On Wednesday the rain will retreat to the Alps, in the rest of the country a change of sun and clouds is to be expected, and it will remain largely dry, with showers likely only on the North Sea. Temperatures can reach up to 18 degrees in the southwest. In addition, there are often moderate winds in the southwest, fresh winds in the north and stormy gusts on the coasts.
