For the party: Sibylle Berg is running for the EU Parliament – Culture

Sibylle Berg can do a lot of things: write, digital things. She’s just not so good with strangers. She still wants to be in the EU Parliament, for Die Partei. A good idea? Time for a meeting.

On the way to an event in Schwerin, which for reasons that will be discussed later is explicitly not an election campaign event, Sibylle Berg, writer and candidate of the satirical party Die Partei for this Sunday’s European elections, who is second on the list behind Martin Sonneborn, discovers an AfD poster that reads: “Protect women and children”. She asks: “What do they mean by that? Are women and children shooters here too? Are there so many shooting clubs in Schwerin?”
