Stars like Yasmina Filali support the work of the Hamburger Tafel so that no plates are left empty this Christmas season.
Actress Yasmina Filali (46) knows what it means to be alone for Christmas. “I grew up in a home and Christmas was naturally not a happy event. I was often alone with two or three others on Christmas Eve,” remembers the 46-year-old. Today she appreciates a “nice atmosphere and delicious food” all the more. Today, the mother of two is repeatedly involved in charitable causes.
Together with her husband Thomas Helmer (56) and the “Hot Banditos” couple Silva Gonzalez (42) and Stefanie Schanzleh (31), Filali now helped pack grocery bags for the Hamburger Tafel. The Italian pasta manufacturer Barilla donated a whole truck with over 20 tons of pasta and various kinds of pesto under its new claim “A sign of love”.
“Cohesion is important”
For Gonzalez, too, a real affair of the heart: “For us it is important to help and to make a contribution – especially in these difficult times, solidarity is very important.” A special Christmas party awaits the singer this year. In October their third child was born with Stefanie Schanzleh. “We’ll celebrate in a very cozy atmosphere with the three children and the grandparents with a Christmas tree, an oven fire and good music. We’ll have goose and dumplings with us,” says Gonzalez, revealing his plans.
Filali, on the other hand, celebrates with her husband and their two children, “unfortunately in a much smaller group than we are used to. Thomas’ sister and her children come to us from Düsseldorf.” As always, there is “Raclette, with homemade sauces and the best meat and fish” to eat.
Thomas Helmer makes the best gifts
When it comes to gifts, Filali can’t get out of raving about it. “There is no one in this world who gives better gifts than my husband. He not only thinks about the gifts, but also about the gift packaging and the matching card.”
And what wishes does the actress have for the new year? “That we are all just nicer to each other again. This pandemic has sometimes brought about the not so beautiful sides of people, and I would be happy if we would treat each other a little more kindly again,” said the mother of two.
Family planning is complete
Gonzalez especially longs for the end of the pandemic and that everything “will be the same as it used to be. I wish that family, friends and everyone else stay healthy. That we have peace in the world and our planet and the environment for our children and save grandchildren. ” However, the singer clearly rejects any further addition to the family. “The family planning is complete! Now we have two great girls and a boy, that’s enough,” explains Gonzalez.
