Food and Drink: How Tony D went from gangster rapper to sommelier – style

A wild-eyed man wearing a military green jacket over his singlet and a mohawk smashes down a barricaded door with a sledgehammer. He screams: “Say, where are the Gegnaz? What do you have for the Gegnaz? Knife, baton, tear gas.” It doesn’t stop at the door, together with his entourage he dismantles the whole house. The man is rapper Tony D – the D stands for Damager, destroyer – and the scene is from his music video for the song “Total Schaden (Smells like Total Schaden)” which was released in 2007 on the Aggro Berlin label.
