Five suspects charged in Bulgaria for helping one of the alleged perpetrators to flee

Five suspects have been charged in Bulgaria after the November 13 attack in Istanbul, attributed by the authorities to Kurdish PKK fighters and their allies in Syria, the Bulgarian prosecutor’s office announced on Saturday.

“Five people have been charged for having helped” one of the alleged perpetrators of the attack to flee, Siyka Mileva, spokesperson for the public prosecutor of Sofia, told AFP. Their role was “logistical”, she said.
