Did you miss the news from the start of the morning? We have concocted a recap to help you see more clearly.

Despite the reluctance and warnings of the oppositions and the Modem, France on Monday evening took a first step towards the creation of a “health pass”. The deputies gave a first green light to this measure on the first day of the examination of a bill which should loosen the state of health emergency. The tool initially reserved for travel to or from abroad, will make access to large gatherings or certain places subject to presentation of a negative result of virological screening, or proof of vaccination or a certificate. recovery from contamination. It now remains to have it accepted by the senators.

The sectors most affected by the health crisis will have more respite. For a while longer, state support will continue, even if it will be reduced, between June and August, detailed the Ministry of the Economy on Monday. The solidarity fund, which currently compensates businesses in tourism, culture, sport, events and related sectors, will therefore act three more months. But the compensation will be limited in June to 40% of the loss of turnover (CA), still with a compensation ceiling of 20% of the turnover. In July, it will then be limited to 30% and in August to 20% of the loss of turnover, always with the same ceiling.

Israelis and Palestinians are currently engaged in one of the largest escalations of violence in recent years. At least 20 people, including nine children and a senior Hamas commander, died Monday evening in airstrikes attributed to the IDF in the Gaza Strip. On the other side, numerous rockets were fired from the Palestinian enclave. Above all, the situation does not seem to want to calm down after new clashes that left more than 500 injured on the Mosques Esplanade in East Jerusalem.
